Time: 70 minutes

Ingredients:

100 grams of dark chocolate

2 tbsp coconut oil

2 tbsp caramel sauce

1 handful of peanuts

2 cups unsweetened vanilla or plain almond milk

150 grams of chocolate protein powder

Silicone mold tray (optional)

Instructions:

In a bowl, microwave the dark chocolate and coconut oil till melted (about 1.5 minutes). Utilize half of the melted chocolate to line the holiday silicone molds with a thin layer and set aside. In place of silicone holiday molds, you may utilize a tray lined with parchment paper and layer ingredients thinly on it. In a bowl, mix the chocolate protein powder and almond milk by hand for a runny consistency. Layer 1-2 tablespoons of the protein powder mixture on top of the layered chocolate in the silicone molds or tray. Chop up the peanuts and spread them evenly on top. Drizzle the caramel sauce on top and then layer the remainder of the melted chocolate. Place in freezer to set for about 2 hours or till well set.

Once set, store these protein Snickers ice cream bars in the freezer and grab one whenever you need a festive, protein-packed treat. They’re proof that you don’t have to give up dessert this holiday season.
