Bone Broth Pasta

Serving Size: 1 bowl (¼ recipe)

Ingredients:

8 oz high-protein or lentil pasta

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic, minced

16 oz chicken bone broth

1 tbsp lemon juice

50 g butter

1 lb shredded or cubed pre-cooked chicken

1 cup Parmesan

Seasonings: chili flakes, salt, pepper

Instructions:

Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add pasta and stir until coated. Pour in chicken bone broth and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally so pasta doesn’t stick. Cook until the broth is absorbed. Lower the heat, add butter, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and Parmesan. Stir until creamy. Remove from heat, top with extra Parmesan, and sprinkle with chili flakes. Serves 4.
